Our approach to women’s healthcare focuses on prevention to maintain optimum health. Our female doctors specialise in (but is not limited to) regular breast checks, mammography referrals, PAP screening, family planning (including IUD insertion and removal), fertility counselling, and management of menopause and Antenatal Shared Care.

We aim to ensure that all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health is managed to achieve individual optimal health outcomes. We register our patients with the Close the Gap program and perform relevant and necessary care plans.
IMMUNSATION & TRAVEL MEDICINE

Travel medicine focuses on health promotion and may include travel vaccinations, up to date travel information from the World Health Organisation, malaria prevention, education and awareness of the local culture or region to help prevent disease, accidents and injuries.
HEALTH CHECKS

All 45-49 year olds should have a comprehensive health check to identify any health issues and optimise your quality of life. Areas assessed may include but are not limited to lifestyle, mobility, medication, nutrition, and exercise.

CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT PLANS
Our doctor’s can help develop an individualised care plan can help manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis and chronic pain. Some care plan patients are eligible for referral to allied health providers at a subsidised cost.
MINOR PROCEDURES
Our doctors and nurses may assist with minor procedures which may include but are not limited to ‘freezing therapy’ for sunspots, warts and mole, treatment of abscesses, ear wax removal, ECG, Spirometry (lung test), and Oximetry (oxygen level).
WORK COVER

Our doctors that specialise in occupational medicine aim to treat, manage and prevent injuries, help with return to work planning, pre-employment medicals and WorkCover consultations.
DIABETES EDUCATION
Diabetes educator helps provide knowledge for self-care living skills, glucose monitoring, healthy living, food choices, daily exercise, injectable medications and how to manage the ups and downs of blood sugar levels.
PATHOLOGY

Corfield Doctors Surgery provides an onsite pathology collection service with Clinpath Pathology. Collections open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Saturday 8.30am to 12.00pm
BONE DENSITY CLINC
Bone density testing is a medical procedure used to determine bone density or strength. It may assist in identifying Osteoporosis or Osteopenia and risk of future bone fractures. Most tests are quick and pain free.
